For .unitypackage files:

1. Open your Unity project.
2. In the Project window, right-click anywhere inside the Assets area.
3. Select Import Package > Custom Package.
4. Choose the .unitypackage file you want to import.
5. Click Import.

For assets from the Unity Asset Store:

1. Log into your Unity account in the Unity Hub or Editor.
2. Add the asset to your account from the Unity Asset Store.
3. Open your Unity project.
4. Go to Window > Package Manager.
5. In the Package Manager, select My Assets from the dropdown/menu.
6. Find the asset and click Download (if needed), then Import.
